Are these authentic handmade Turkish rugs?

Each rug arrives with documentation of its provenance, including the workshop, materials, and approximate date of completion.
What is the Turkish double-knot (Gördes), and why does it matter?
The Gördes, or Turkish double-knot, wraps the wool around two warp threads rather than one. That single difference makes the weave denser, the pile more secure, and the rug dramatically stronger and longer-lasting. It is the technique behind the strength and generations-long life that have made Turkish rugs the most coveted on earth. Two threads, not one — that is the whole story.
How long do these rugs last?
A hand-knotted rug, properly cared for, will outlast nearly every other object in your home. Built on the dense Turkish double-knot and woven from durable hand-spun wool (and often silk), these are heirloom pieces — made to be passed down, not replaced.
Are the dyes natural, and how do I clean the rug?
Our pieces are coloured with natural plant dyes — no harsh chemicals, and gentle to live with. For care: vacuum in the direction of the pile, rotate the rug annually in high-traffic areas, blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth (never rub), and arrange professional cleaning every three to five years with a specialist in handwoven textiles.
